Job Description

Job Context

  • Reporting to : Deputy Manager, Admin
  • Grade : G-IV

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate & monitor activities related to the administrative function
  • Maintain office assets (monitoring, documenting, disposal or transfer resources)
  • Prepare purchase requisition for supplies (Office equipment, lab supplies etc.)
  • Monitor unit staff attendance, leave and travel.
  • Prepare/ verify request authorization of travel, travel documents such as Visa applications, travel and miscellaneous expenses (T&ME) and purchase requisition.
  • Manage vehicles
  • Tamely procurement of office supplies, consumables and store management.
  • Provide logistic supports for travelling of IWM staff or external consultant in connection with field trips to project sites.

Education Requirements:

  • Masters in Economics/ Finance/ Public Administration/ Social Science/ Journalism/ English/ International Relations/ MBA

Experience Requirements

  • At least 3 year(s)

Additional Requirements:

  • Age at most 30 years
  • At least 3 years practical work experience in the similar position in reputed national or international organizations.
  • The incumbent must have a can-do attitude and excellent interpersonal skill.
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills in English and Bangla
  • Fair knowledge in accounting, transport management, security, legal aspects, Visa processing, air tickets, event management issues.
  • Should have experience to handle /face adverse situations.
  • Should have fair knowledge in inventory management.
  • Experience in liaison with government and other related organizations.
  • Good command in Microsoft Office package and internet.
